Paranoize #28 is out NOW! This issue includes interviews with Goat from Nolaunderground.com, Big Baby, Machine Made Slave, Raum, Built To Destroy, Crotchbreaker and Marais Noir plus Mike IX Williams telling about an adventure in a NOLA graveyard with The Misfits in 1982, the return of Mike Bevis's "In Defense And Admiration Of The NOLA Undertground" article, and reviews.

I'm very excited about the upcoming Raise The Dead Fest III! It will fall on Saturday, November 1st at the Howlin' Wolf (907 S. Peters Street, NOLA) and this year's guests are Outlaw Order, Flesh Parade, Ritual Killer and Hostile Apostle with a side show by Pain Tribe!
SPREAD THE WORD!
The last update of The Way It Was features a couple of demos by bands that I met while I briefly lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the mid-90's: Abuse-Gruesome Tales of Sex and Sickness demo and Feid-Within The Cell demo.
I'll be updating that section again in the very near future. Feel free to add any requests to the comment box that is to the right of that page.

Paranoize is a non-profit independent publication based in New Orleans, Louisiana covering metal, sludge, grindcore, stoner rock, hardcore, and other forms of underground music.

Individual issues are free in person, $2.00 through the mail.

Music and non-music related rants, stories, articles, scene reports, and artwork are always welcome for printing consideration. Racist, sexist, and homophobic contributions will be printed, but expect a harsh rebuttal in these pages to follow. Remember that any rants, stories, or articles printed only reflect the opinion of the author and not necessarily the entire staff of Paranoize.

Bands and recording labels may send cassettes (home or studio recorded), vinyl,or compact discs (yes we accept cdr’s) for a guaranteed review. Keep in mind that the music reviews are only the opinion of the listener and nothing more. If the person reviewing your music doesn’t like what you send and gives it a bad review, just suck it up and get on with your life. If you whine to us we’ll just make fun of you.
