If you've been keeping up with me on myspace and facebook, then you probably know about the internet radio show that I've been doing called Paranoize Radio. Every Thursday night at 10 PM (Central Time) I host a show at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/paranoize that covers all that is loud and noisy in the New Orleans underground music scene (punk, hardcore, metal, grindcore, sludge, and good ol' dirty rock n roll), past and present. If you register through the site, you can participate in the chatroom which has become a regular cast of local musicians, other radio show hosts, and other fun people. I want to thank all of you who have been listening regularly and giving me a reason to do this!

Paranoize #30 is still available. Interviews with Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod, Outlaw Order, Arson Anthem, The Guilt Of...,etc.), Toxic Rott and Low Drag. This issue marked 30 years of publishing on my part (Thrashcore 'Zine started in 1989 and sort of evolved into Paranoize)so there's a bit of reflecting on my part. Also, there are articles by M. Bevis and a comic by Bill Heintz and the usual music reviews.There are still copies around town at The Bar, Webb's Bywater Music, and The Mushroom.

Paranoize 31 will cover the upcoming Raise The Dead Fest (4) which will take place on March 6th at Hi Ho Lounge (2239 St. Claude, New Orleans). This year will have reunions by The Sluts, Disappointed Parents and The Dirtys, so interviews with those 3 bands are in the works.

Paranoize is a non-profit independent publication based in New Orleans, Louisiana covering metal, sludge, grindcore, stoner rock, hardcore, and other forms of underground music.

Individual issues are free in person, $2.00 through the mail.

Music and non-music related rants, stories, articles, scene reports, and artwork are always welcome for printing consideration. Racist, sexist, and homophobic contributions will be printed, but expect a harsh rebuttal in these pages to follow. Remember that any rants, stories, or articles printed only reflect the opinion of the author and not necessarily the entire staff of Paranoize.

Bands and recording labels may send cassettes (home or studio recorded), vinyl,or compact discs (yes we accept cdr’s) for a guaranteed review. Keep in mind that the music reviews are only the opinion of the listener and nothing more. If the person reviewing your music doesn’t like what you send and gives it a bad review, just suck it up and get on with your life. If you whine to us we’ll just make fun of you.
